Biography:

Lauren is an Australian born Malaysian-Chinese who is passionate about creating and holding space for others to connect with, appreciate, and heal their bodies and minds.

She is a lover of all forms of movement including: yoga, barre, contemporary and lyrical dancing, Brazilian Zouk, swimming, and roller skating. If you don’t see her teaching in the yoga or dance studio, or organising her monthly Brazilian social dance event, you’ll find her immersed in her studies. Having worked as a tax accountant for 4 years, she soon realised that her calling was in the domain of health science and thus switched careers to pursue naturopathy, a form of alternative medicine that focuses on providing a holistic and natural approach to health and healing.

Lauren’s friends often describe her as passionate, patient, playful, perceptive, talented, organised, and reliable. She is generous with her time and loves understanding each individual’s stories by having deep and meaningful conversations over a glass of wine or cup of tea. To date, she has done a product launch campaign shoot for yoga leggings company, Secret Yogi, and promotional shoots for Sydney Dance Company and Tropical Soul Dance Studio.
